This package installs Power Manager utility programs.

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED
1. Click Start, select All Programs, select ThinkVantage, then
select Power Manager.
2. Click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Click ThinkPad Power Manager driver, then click Click here for
support information to display the version information.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Note:
If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to
update the software. To determine if you should update the software,
refer to the Version Information section.
Manual Install
1. Start Windows XP, 2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
The default location is C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PWRMGR.
3. Click Start, then click Run...
4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the
package in step 2, and click OK.
Example: C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PWRMGR\SETUP.EXE
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Unattended Install
This is for system administrators' use only.
- Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the
files.
- At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -S -SMS options.
Example: [Path where the files were extracted]\SETUP.EXE -S -SMS
