WHAT THIS PACKAGE DOES
This package installs the software (Wireless LAN driver and Utility) to enable
the following adapter cards.
- Intel WiFi Link 5100
- Intel WiFi Link 5300
- Intel WiFi Link 5350
- Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AG
- Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945BG Network Connection
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
Note:
The following adapters are no longer supported.
- Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection
- Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
They are supported with the old version, 11.05.0 API (7KWV50WW).
Refer to marketing materials to find out what computer models support which

If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) this
package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted
below.
This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED
1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
2. Click System and Maintenance.
3. Click System. From the left pane, click Device Manager.
4. Click Network adapters.
5. Double-click Intel(R) PRO Wireless WIFI Software.
6. Click the Driver tab. The driver version will be displayed.

1. If you use ThinkVantage Access Connections, the following software must be
installed.

2. You may need to re-enter security information after updating the Wireless LAN
driver.
3. Before installing this software, you should install Windows Vista fix module
KB932063. The detail information and how to obtain the KB932063 module is
located in the following Microsoft's site.

To verify if the KB932063 module is installed properly,
1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
2. Find 'Programs and Features' and click. If this option does not exist on
the window, choose Classic View to find it.
3. On 'Tasks' pane, click on "View installed updates".
4. Verify that KB932063 is included in the list of installed updates.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Notes:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update
the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the
Version Information section.
- Before installing this software, you should install Windows Vista fix module
KB932063. Refer to the item 3 of NOTES section for the detail information.
Manual Install
1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. (Please
follow default extraction settings.)
3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
4. Specify C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLANINT\Autorun.EXE and click OK.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Restart the computer*.
Unattended Install
This is for system administrators' use only.
- Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the files.
- At the command line, execute Autorun.EXE with the /QN option.

1. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
2. Click Start and select Control Panel
3. Under Programs, click Uninstall Programs
4. Double click Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software.
6. Click Next, select Remove, and then follow the instructions.
7. Restart system.
Manual Unattended Uninstall
This is for system administrators' use only.
At the command line, execute Autorun.EXE with the /QUIET /UNINSTALL option.
