WHAT THIS PACKAGE DOES

  This accompanying InterVideo WinDVD upgrade package can update the
  InterVideo WinDVD Player in the ThinkPad computers.

  If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing)
  this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand
  functions as noted below.

DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED

  1. Click Start, select Programs, select InterVideo WinDVD, then
     click InterVideo WinDVD. The DVD Panel player will launch.
  2. When the DVD Panel player is launched, right-click on the DVD
     Panel player, then click About...

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Notes:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to
  update the software. To determine if you should update the software,
  refer to the Version Information section.
- This driver can only be used on the supported models listed above.
- This package can not be installed without the InterVideo WinDVD
  already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purpose
  only.


Manual Install

  1. Start Windows.
  2. Extract the package to your hard drive.
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify the SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted
     the package in the step 2, and click OK.
     Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.


Unattended Install

  This is for system administrators' use only.

  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Type "[Program Path]\setup -S -SMS" and click OK.
     [Program Path] is the full path name where you extracted
     the package in the step 2.
